Our client is an international organization with a
presence ¡n over 20 countries worldwide. Seeking to
grow its Asia business with a particular focus on the
sub-continent, they now seek a Strategy Director.
Reporting to the CEO and advising the Board, the main purpose
of the role will be to provide strategic advice and analysis on all
facets of political and operational risk in this dynamic and evolving
market. Key responsibilities will include:
. Provide strategic guidance and direction in the execution of the
company’s functions and activities in the Asian/sub-continent region
. Identify gaps and weaknesses in the company’s Asian operation focus
• Drive the development of new initiatives and research activities
. Collaborate with director of Asia strategic operations
. Develop key regional relationships
Operating at a senior management level, and ¡deally with experience as
a senior government, legal or military official, the successful candidate
will have a proven track record of working on major issues affecting the
sub-continent region.
Specific exposure to issues such as regional stability, financial services,
energy markets or infrastructure is important. Other attributes include the
ability to articulate complex issues, excellent leadership, negotiating and
influencing skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships.
