Dairy and Rural Development Foundation (DRDF), is
implementing the Dairy Project (funded by USAID and
other support institutions) to improve livestock
productivity and livelihood of rural communities through
livestock and dairy development. DRDF-USAID Dairy
Project is seeking applications from suitably qualified
candidates for the following posts:
Communications Consultant ¡ Position
Communications consultant will be required to support the
Dairy Project’s Communications Department in
implementing a comprehensive media campaign to raise
awareness on best dairy farming practices using print and
electronic media; write press releases, success stories,
articles, and scopes of work, conduct project workshops,
conferences, and other events; assist in website
development; develop project documentaries and training
videos.
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Dairy Project’s Project Management Unit,
Lahore.
Qualification: Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Social
Sciences, Mass Communications, or English
Language/Literature.
Experience and Skills: At least 3-4 years’ experience
related to implementation of media awareness campaign
for rural audiences. Candidates should have good writing,
analytical and communications skills.
Communications Interns 2 Positions
Communications Interns will support the Communications
Department in implementation of the media awareness
campaign on best dairy farming practices; coordinate with
advertising agencies, printers, documentary makers, and
PR firms; work closely with the project’s procurement and
other departments; take lead on field photography.
Duration: 3 Months
Location: Dairy Project’s Project Management Unit,
Lahore.
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience and Skills: Fresh graduates or students
nearing completion of their degrees. Candidates should
have excellent computer and communications skills.
Candidates with experience will be preferred.
