CAREER OPPORTUNITY
AS
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Ministry of Water and Power ¡s seeking candidate for the position of Managing Director for its Public
Sector Company for execution of Power Projects i.e. Extra High Voltage Transmission Lines,
Distribution Networks, Substations, Power Generation Plants, Industrial Electrification, External
Lighting of Houses Complexes etc.
MANAGING DIRECTOR:
. The candidate must demonstrate leadership skills, management and team building experience,
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
. Ability to work with all personnel to nature an environment of opportunity for maximum
creativeness and sense of accomplishment and the utilization of administrative practices which
will assure a smoothly operating organization of adequately trained employees.
. The candidate must show his/her willingness to be the agent of change.
. Managing Director is responsible for business operation, administration and financial affairs of
the Company.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES: I
• Executive of Power Projects outside country particularly Middle East countries.
QUALIFICATIONS I EXPERIENCE:
. The candidate would hold a professional engineering degree (Local/Foreign) from recognized
institutions preferably in Electrical Technology.
. Preference will be given to candidates holding a Master’s Degree in business, managing,
accounting, communication or engineering.
. The candidate should have overall minimum of 15 years of professional experience, 10 of which
in the public/private sector serving in a senior management position in power sector will be
considered.
. Foreign qualified candidates will be given preference.
AGE:
. The candidate should be in the age 45 to 58 years.
SALARY PACKAGE:
. Salary package will be negotiated at the time to interview or as decided by the Board of Directors.
