CAREER OPPORTUNITY
We are a state-of-the-art manufacturing sector support company established for use by local industry. It is
equipped with the most modern machines including 5-axis machining centers, rapid prototyping equipment,
selective lasersintering, 3D scanning, CMM, laser cutting and marking and more.
The company is providing local industry ready access to proœss their requirements, use the machines and
obtain training in utililising and assimilating the latest precision technology. The aim ¡s to foster growth of local
industry through value addition, increased precision, quality enhancement and competitiveness. It will also help
local industry by developing custom tools, dies and moulds, provide consultancy and skill development of their
staff.
We are seeking an individual to lead the technical floor area who will be reporting to the CEO as:
GENERAL MANAGER OPERATIONS
• Plan, develop and execute strategies to achieve stated/agreed targets and objectives of the company
. Manage and run the company specializing in state-of-the-art tool-making, die-making, mould-making, metal
working, precision engineering, CAD/CAM based design and related activities
• Assist and facilitate the regional industrial cluster in upgrading its current technology to catch up with
international levels
• Design, develop and implement training activities focused on enhancing skills of the cluster/industries on
upgraded technologies
. Plan, develop and implement strategies for generating resources for the organization
. Maintain a close liaison with the CEO and the Chairman and keep them updated on the company’s activities
. Provide consultancy and advory services to the cluster
A registered professional from Engineering Council with B.Sc (Mechanical Engineering) from a reputable
national or international university with minimum 15 years of work experience in relevant engineering
industry/skill development field with at least 5 years in a senior management position.
The candidate should have a strong engineering background with progressive and challenging engineering
management experience. Preference will be given to candidates having past design or manufacturing setup
experience. Having experience n the field of tools, dies and moulds will be an important requirement. Ability to
resolve issues between teams of professionals and technical managers are also essentials for this position.
