Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) is seeking
candidate (or the position of its Chief Executive Officer.
Chief Executive Officer
* The Chief Executive Officer will report to the Board of Directors and
work closely with them for the development of a Strategic Plan to
uphold the Company’s mission and objectives and to promote
transparency, enhance revenue and encourage strong consumers
relationship.
Area of Responsibility’
* Applicants should be familiar with the economic, social, cultural,
legislative and political environment of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa ¡n
particular and the country ¡n general.
He should have the knowledge of Company Law, Management of
Contracts, Knowledge of purchase procedures, a vision for planning
for future expansion of power supply, ideas for improvements in
service quality to the customers, budgeting, maintaining financial
discipline and dealing the labour unions, hostile customers and
above all an agent of Change, Management from ngid public sector
attitude to corporate culture and computer literacy are highly
desirable attributes.
Qualification & Experience.
* He must be a qualified engineer from a recognized institution.
(Preferably with Masters in engineering or MBA).
Experience of Electrical power system, specially transmission,
distribution and system operation will be preferred.
The candidate should have an over all experience of 25 years with
03 years of leading an organization ¡n the public/private sector of a
service utility of a size comparable to PESCO.
Remuneration and Age.
* Compensation package will be market based and negotiable.
* The applicant should not be more than 62 years of age at the time of
advertisement.
