Energy Department invites applications from suitable and enthusiastxz candidates domiciled in Punjab for senior positions in its projects. The candidates should have the vision to make its affiliates at par with other sectors in Pakistan. A. PUNJAB POWER DEVELOPMENT BOARD 1. Managing Director (1 Post) (Age Mm: 45, Max: 60 years) Pay MP-1 (in case of contract employee) or in case of appointment by transfer, pay and allowances of selectee in parent Department plus deputation allowance as admissible under Punjab Government Rules. BSc (Engineering) ¡ri Civil or Mechanical or Electrical having registered with PEC or MBA from a recognized university. Should have overall experience of at least 20 years of which 5 years experience of dealing with Federal or Provincial Power Generation Policy. Should be well conversant with the implementahon of Power Projects on BOOT, BOO & BOT basis. Should have experience and famiar of developing documents like POD, RFP, PPA and IA and their legal and financial implications. Should have experience of examinmg and reviewing of feasibility studies of Power Projects and Tariff issues. Should possess experience of planning and schedulìrig of Large scale projects. 2. Manager (LepaI1Contract (1 Post) (Age Mm: 40. Max: 50 years) Pay Rs 110,1121- lump sum (in case of contract employee) or in case of appointment by transfer, pay and allowances of se’ectee in parent Department plus deputation allowance as admissible under Punjab Government Rules, Must possess LIB. Degree from a recognized university. Should have an overall experience of 1 5 years of which 03 years have been spent in handling contract agreements. Experience with Power Projects I Policy would be preferred. Should possess experience of handling issues relating to NEPRA, WAPDA and other stakeholders in Power Sector. 3. DeDutv Prolect Manager (HydroDower) (1 Post) (Age Mm: 28, Max: 45 years) Pay Rs. 70,454!- lump sum (in case of contract employee) in case of appointment by transfer, pay and allowances of selectee in parent Department plus deputation allowance as admissible under Punjth Government Rules, Graduate Engineer in Civil I Mechical discipline or Hydropower Engineer or Bachelor I Masters Decree in Water Resources Engineering from a recognized university (registered with PEC). Should have an overall experience of at least 05 years in the practice of civil engineering of which 02 years expenence have been spent in planning, construction and maintenance of Hydraulic Structures on carials/ rivers or Hydropower Projects. Should be conversant with Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and reseWement issues relating to Thermal Power Projects. 4. Deoutv Prolect Manager (Mechanical) (1 Post) (Age Mm: 35, Max: 45 years) Pay Rs. 70,454!- lump sum (in case of contract employee) or in case of appointment by transfer, pay and allowances of selectee in parent Department plus deputation allowance as admissible under Punjab Government Rules. Graduate Engineer in Mechanical or Electrical discipline from a recognized university (registered with PEC). Should have an overall experience of at least 10 years of which 03 years experience have been spent in planning, implementation and operation of thermal turbines of various technologies and associated mechanical equipments. Should be computer literate having experience of computing techniques, Should be conversant with Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and resettlement Issues relating to Thermal Power Projects. 5.
