BUREAU OF STATISTICS GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB 2-BEGUM ROAD, LAHORE HIRING OF THE SERVICES OF SURVEY COORDINATOR Bureau of Statistics, Planning & Development Department, Government of the Punjab ¡s conducting Census of Small and Cottage Industries in Punjab in the Urban & Rural areas of the Province under a service agreement with the Punjab Small Industries Corporation (PSIC). To plan and execute this Census the services of a Survey Coordinator are required on contract on short terms basis. Terms of Reference (TORs) To provide support and input to the Provincial Survey Manager in the: * Finalization of the questionnaire in consultation with PSIC. * Coding and punching of the census data. * Preparing of required tabulation plan. * Selection of Census staff. * Training of enumerators!census staff as master trainer. * Supervision, monitoring and making of all required arrangements for the collection of required data. * Arranging visits of PSIC officers for field survey and monitoring. * Data entry cleaning and analysis. * Preparation of survey reports. Qualification & Experience * Master’s Degree in Social Sciences from a recognized University. * At least 15 years experience in the relevant field of Censuses! Surveys in a reputable public sector statistical organization. Assignment Duration * January, 2012 to June 2013 (18 months) extendable in case of revision in the gestation period of the scheme by the competent authority. Age Limit: 50-65 year on the closing date. Location: Lahore based with frequent travelling throughout the province. Salary Package: Forty thousand rupees per moth with Social Security benefits.
