Dr. A.Q. Khan Institute of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering
(KIBGE), one of the premier institutions of the country, currently
involved ¡n research ¡n the fields of Agricultural, Industrial and Medical
Biotechnology and ¡s looking to develop a separate section on
Environmental Biotechnology. Visionary persons with leadership
qualities and proven research record ¡n the field of Biotechnology and
Genetic Engineering are encouraged to apply for the following

PROFESSOR (BPS.21)
E I I g j b i I I ty:
1. Ph.D from an HEC recognized institution in Biological Sciences
(Botany, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Genetics, Microbiology,
Physiology, Zoology, or an allied subject).
2. Fifteen (15) years teaching / research in HEC recognized
University or postgraduate institution or professional experience
in the fìeld of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering ¡n a
National or International organization.
3. Eight (8) years post-Ph.D level experience in HEC recognized
University or postgraduate institution or professional experience
in the field of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering ¡n a
National or International organization.
PROFESSOR (TTS)
E I j g j b ¡ I ity:
1. Ph.D from an HEC recognized institution in Biological Sciences
(Botany, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Genetics, Microbiology,
Physiology, Zoology, or an allied subject).
2. Eleven (1 1 ) years post-Ph.D level experience in HEC recognized
University or postgraduate institution or professional experience
in the field of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering ¡n a
National or International organization.
OR
Seven (7) years post-Ph.D level experience along with at least
1 2 years of experience prior to Ph.D in HEC recognized
University or postgraduate institution or professional experience
in the field of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering in a
National or International organization.
Fifteen (1 5) research publications (with at least 5 publications in
the last 5 years), in journals under the category of W (impact
factor journals) recognized by HEC for this purpose.
Application Procedure:
I. Application forms can be obtained from the office of the Director
General on payment of Rs. 1000/- (non-refundable) through pay
order in favour of KIBGE.
IL Applicants are required to submit six (6) copies of the applications,
along with copies of the documents and published articles, latest by
February 29, 2012. In case of Pakistani National serving / residing
abroad, the last date of receiving the applications ¡s March 15,2012.
