PHC Punjab Healthcare Commission Job Opportunities Punjab Healthcare Commission, an independent regulatory body has been established under the Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC) Act 2010 to ensure provision of quality health services within Punjab. Government of the Punjab in collaboration with Department for International Development’s (OFID) Agency Technical Assistance Management Agency (TAMA) has completed the groundwork for setting up the Commission. The Commission was inaugurated on the 27th October 2011 with the appointment of Board of Commissioners. The Board has been actively engaged to make the Commission fully functional. ritle Eligibility Criteria Qualification Executive ‘ Masters Degree in Management, Business, Health Management I Public Health I Equivalent, all from reputable institutions. * Preference will be given to a Medical Graduate with degree in any of the above fields. * Additional higher qualifications in Management and or clinical subjects will be a plus. Experience The successful candidate will have; * Total 15 years experience of working at senior management level where he must have held high responsibility positions. Preference will be given to candidates with experience of heading a large organisation as CEOICOO for at least 3 years. Previous experience of working in the healthcare field will be a plus. Qualification ‘ A graduate with Masters Degree in Business Management, Business Administration from a reputable institution or CFOs with considerable management experience Additional higher or professional qualifications in financial management, Chartered Institute of Secretaries ICT or human resources. Experience The successful candidate will have; ‘ At least 10 years of senior management experience of working in large organisations in public or private sectors ‘ Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate the following experience: a Track record of having managed business support systems for large organisations especially related to healthcare. ‘ A successful track record of leadership and strategic management in a complex healthcare or regulatory organisation. Qualification ‘ A Medical Graduate with Masters Degree in Health Management I Public Health I Equivalent from reputable foreign institutions. Additional professional or post-graduate qualifications in management or clinical medicine Experience The successful candidate will have; ‘ 15 years experience of working in healthcare in the public sector I government health institutions, out of which 3 to 5 years International experience will be preferred * at least three years of total experience to Include health planning and policy development responsibilities and development of clinical standards Preference will be given to candidates with a proven track record of leading the development of Health Care Delivery Standards in rapidly growing I stable organisations in the healthcare sector.
