EXPRESSION OF INTEREST IS RELJ1REDJ
Applications are invited for appointment as PROFESSOR
(BPS-21) in the Area Study Centre for Europe, University
of Karachi as per following Terms and Conditions.
REQUIREMENTS:
i) Ph.D from an HEC recognized Institution in the relevant field.
ii) 1 5-Years Teaching/Research Experience in HEC recognized
University or a Post Graduate Institution or Professional
Experience in a National or International Organization.
iii) 15 Research Publications (with at least 3 Publications in
the Last 5 Years) in internationally abstracted Journals
recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
a) Applications are required to be submitted on prescribed
Forms, obtainable from the Office of the Deputy Registrar
(Establishment, Teaching, (Room No. 27)), University of
Karachi on Payment of Rs. 350/- through Pay Order in
favour of University of Karachi.
b) Six Copies of Application together with a Pay Order of Rs.
600/- in favour of University of Karachi for the Post of
Professor, Photocopies of Marks Certificates of Degrees/
Diplomas/Certificates, Experience Certificates and Reprints
of Publications, if any, must reach the Registrar, University
of Karachi, University Road, Karachl-75270 (Pakistan) on
or before February 10, 2012. The Last Date for Receipt
of Applications in case of Pakistani Nationals
serving/residing abroad is February 25, 2012.
c) Candidates already in Government, Semi-Government
and Autonomous Organizations in Pakistan must apply
through Proper Channel.
d) Candidates requesting Application Forms by Post must
send a Pay Order of Rs. 400/- within Pakistan and Rs.
700/- or Equivalent from Outside Pakistan, drawn in favour
of University of Karachi, Pakistan along with Written
Request.
e) The Number of Posts shall be considered according to
the available positions at the time of Selection. The
University also reserves the right to cancel the post,
advertised above without assigning any reason.
