Transport Department has established a Transport Planning Unit (TPU) to undertake transport sftidies in the cities of
Punjab to develop integrated Transport Master Plan. The department requires the services of following personal on a
performance based contract basis, carrying a competitive market based salary package. Experience negotiable in case
of extraordinary qualifications.
Lc1 Directol:l(l) PhD in Transportation Planning or Engineenng from a recognized university with at least 04
years post-doctorate experience in transport research, planning, design, development and management.
(ii) Master degree in Transportation Planning oc Engineering, minimum 2nd division from a recognized university
with atleast 06 years ofpost-graduation experience in transport research, planning, design, development and
management
Candidates with experience in multi-modal studies, administration, quality control, and relevant transport
planning software will be given preference.
Pay package: Equivalent to MP-II Scale(Rs. 220,000) (Age Limit:30-50 years) (One post)
r Transport Planner Master degree in Transportation Planning, minimum 2nd division from a recognized
university wth at least 04 years of post-graduation experience in developing transport master plans, planning
studies, multi-modal studies, and working knowledge of Urban Transportation Management.
Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience of transport modeling software.
Pay package: Rs. 150,000 (Age Limit:30-50 years) (One post)
. nsport Demand Modeler. (l) M.Sc in Transportation planning or engineering from a recognized university with
p oma in demand modeling tool with at least 03 years of post-graduation experience in urban traffic demand
modeling.(ii) B.Sc in Civil I Transportation engineering from a recognized university with diploma in demand
modeling tool with at least 05 years experience in urban traffic demand modeling.
Pay Package: Rs. 70.000-80,000 (Age Limit: 27-45 years) (one post)

least 02 years of post-graduation experience in geometrics, pavements, environmental Impact assessment
drainage design, and knowledge of relevant design tools (ii) B.Sc degree in Highway/Transportation Engineerin
from a recognized university with at least 04 years experience in geornetrics, pavements, environmental lmpac
assessment, drainage design, and knowledge of relevant design tools.
Pay Package: Rs. 60,000 (Age Limit: 27-45 years) (one post)
(i) M.Sc degree in Traffic I Transportation Engineering from a recognized university witl
profound educational record in report writing and research works. At least 2 years experience in any governmen
organization is preferred. Development of any traffic I transport related project in city with active participation. (ii
