Ii-IT is currenty undeftaking a fcwegn fijnded proct for the
A Corn petitJVenesS Improvement of the Leather Sector. For
implementation of project actMt1 we are looking for Leather
Sector Ccnsultants. We are seeking IndMduals with the following
skills:
Responsibilities:
. Undertake Needs Assessment of the leather product sector, Identify areas for
improvement, and develop training materials for identifìed interventions
. Setup training programs with international llnkaçes, and enhance capacity of
local training institutes for the leather sector.
. Motivate industry players to participate in the initiative and provide technical
guidance
. Develop leather products’ testing laboratory for International accreditation
. Develop and promote showcases of competitiveness Improvement for
capacity enhancement, value addition, arid exports diversification
Skills & Qualifications;
• 15+ years of experience in capacity building, and development consulting for
the industrial sector in general, wIth 5 year specific to Leather sector
. Experience of working with the leather sector, capacity building, and
international marketing of leather or other exported products is essential
. MS degree In Chen*al or Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or Business
Administration
