VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT ,
Directorate of Staff Development has been restructured as the apex instiwtion for professional development
of teachers inlPunjab. It offers numerous opportunities for energetic and motivated individuals interested ri
professional growth. Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the posts of Teacher Educators
(TES) in the following District Training and Support Centres (DTSC5) of Purijab, These posts would be filled
either by tranšfer or cri contract basis (as per Govt. Policy) as the case may be. Proficiency in the computer
application especially MS Office (MS Word, Excel & Power point etc) is must.

degree holders.
. Mininum 8 years teaching/ work experience in
the relevant field is required.
. Candidate must possess excellent written and
verbal communicati and interpersonal skills.

employees working in BPS-17 who are otherwise
eligible can apply for appointment through
transfer.

. The post of Teacher Educator is a program post and ‘s purely on contract basis.
. The post of Teacher Educator is district specific and non-transferable.
. 5% of the posts are reserved for female candidates. Those female candidates who intend to apply
against the posts reserved for women must mention women quota seat” with red ink on the face of the
application. Selection of female candidates against quota reserved for them shall be made on the basis
of merit amongst female candidates.
. 5% of the posts are reserved for minorities. Selection of minority candidates against quota reserved for
them shall be made on the basis of merit amongst minority candidates,
. 2% of the posts are reserved foc disabled persons (provided the disability certificate from the concerned
Board is attached along with the application). Selection of disabled candidates against quota reserved
for them shall be made on the basis of ment amongst disabled candidates.
. Districts will be allocated keeping in view the vacancy position, preference of the candidate for the
district and the category of the post (to be obtained at the time of intervw) and the final merit position
01 the candidate.

certificates etc and one passport size recent photograph must reach the concerned office by
15-11-2011. Incomplete aplications will riot be considered.
