Pakistan Red Crescent Society, Sindh Provincial Headquarters invites applications for the following positions for qualified and dynamic candidates for appointment on purely contract basis.
COMMAND & CONTROL OFFICER (01 Position) Based in KARACHI
General Preferences:
Minimum graduate, having experience with Red Cross I Red Crescent Movement or any humanitarian Organization/NGO is strongly preferred.
Ability to deal with complex situations. He/She should be capable of managing team work, community programs, emergency response & relief works etc.
Good Command in written and spoken English and Computer Skills.
Reporting & Management skills.
Experience in Responding Emergencies (Especially Urban) will be preferred.
Experience & Trained in Rescue, Fire & Causality handling will be preferred.
Volunteer Management skills.
Ready to travel and stay out of station any time.
Maximum age limit 35 years
Field Coordinator DRR (01 Position) Based in KARACHI
General Preferences:
Minimum Graduate preferably in social sciences from recognized and registered Institution.
Relevant work experience in working dose with communities, community mobilization skills, community based disaster risk reduction project plans implementation, Disaster Damage and Needs Assessments, Relief Distributions, field level Coordination.
At least 3 years of previous work experience ¡n a humanitarian/non-profit sector is a strong asset;
Strong experience in Community developing Program
Good report writing skills;
Language skills (English, Urdu);
Ability to work efficiently in a team environment;
Flexibility and ability to work independently and long hours:
Red cross/Red Crescent Movement working experience would be an additional point Ability to travel frequently and for extended periods of time:
Computer literate (Microsoft Office, E-mail, Internet, etc.).
Maximum age limit 40 years
