EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES WALLED CITY OF LAHORE AUTHORITY LOCAL GOVERNMENT & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT In continuation of this department’s earlier advertisement dated 06-10-2012 and 07-10-2012, applicatIons are re-Invited in light of amended eligibility criteria for the following post for Walled City of Lahore Authority from eligible candidates having qualification & experience In the relevant field. The recruitment will be purely on contract basis for the period of three years on fixed pay package mentioned below. Detail terms of reference may be downloaded at Punjab Government Website located at www.punjab.gov.pkilocal government and community development. House Rent Allowance Rs. 1,05,000 Utility Allowance Rs 12,000 per month. Eligibility Criteria (I) Master’s Degree (2nd Division) from HEC recognized University in Urban Planning, or Archeology or Social Sciences. (ii) 15 years’ experience of management or academics in fields of Heritage, Culture, Urban Planning. An officer of the Government of the rank and status of BS.20 or above and possessing the prescribed qualification and experience mentioned at A (i) & (ii) above. Age limit for the candidates is between 52 years to 63 years. Brief Job Description The Director General shall be the Chief Executive of the Authority and shall (I) be a whole time officer of th. authority, (ii) perform such duties and exercise such powers as are assigned to him under the act or as may be prescribed or as may be delegated to him by the authority. (Iii) Hold office for a term of 3 years but shall remain in the office for 3 months thereafter or until a successor in that office is appointed, whichever is earlier all academic testimonials should reach by 17-11-12 in the Name of Post Remuneration Fixed Salary of Rs. 2,40,000 Director General (One post) (A) (B) (C) Conditions: Application along with copies of office of the undersigned. Only short listed candidates will be called for interview. After the expiry of the date of receiving the application, no application will be considered. Attested copies of Domicile & National Identity Card along with three passport size photographs must be attached with the application. Governmentl Semi-Government employees may forward their application through their Department. However an advance copy should reach in this Department by 17-1 1-12. Note: Candidates who have already applied in pursuance of earlier advertisement dated 06-10-2012 and 07-10-2012 for the above post within due date need not to apply again.
