Applications are invited from the eligible / suitable candidates on plain
paper with attested copies of testimonials, transcripts and experience certificate with
specific dates for one post of Research Associate on purely contract basis in the
Research Project “Development of meat type in bred line of Japanese Quail
(Coturnix Coturnix Japonica) with higher body weight acclimatized to
indigenous managemental conditions through 6 generations of Selective
breeding programme” funded by Punjab Agriculture Research Board (PARB) at
Avian Research & Training Centre (ART) Centre, University of Veterinary and Animal
Sciences, Lahore at consolidated salary package of Rs.20,000I per month till the
completion of the project with the following qualifications:
Eligibility I Qualification: ______
B.Sc.(Hons) Poultry Science ¡ Bs (Hons) Animal
Husbandry I DVM I or equivalent degree awarded after
16 years of education in the relevant field with no 3
division in the academic career from an HEC
recognized University I Institution.
Note: Candidate must be capable of managing the birds
on scientific lines and to record the huge data separately
on quail parent stock, hatchery and broiler quails.
Incomplete applications or received after due date will not be
entertained. University reserves the right not to fill the vacancy without assigning any
reason. Applications complete in all respect must reach n the office of the Registrar
on or before 31-10-2012 (Wednesday) during office hours. The candidates will
appear for interview before the Selection Committee in the office of the Dean, Faculty
of Animal Production & Technology. Separate call letters will be issued only to the
eligible candidates to appear before the Selection Committee for interview in the office
of the Dean, Faculty of Animal Production & Technology, UVAS, Lahore.
