JOBS FOR GRC/PRCS LIVELIHOOD PROJECT In collaboration with the Pakistan Red Crescent Society, German Red Cross is planning to conduct livelihoods assessment in district Dadu, Thatta and Badin in order to produce a long-term livelihoods development project. For this task we are looking competent candidate for the following openings: Job Title: Data Collection Facilitator (3 open positions for districts Thatta, Badin, and Dadu) IIlllTIton ‘AssJnment: The duration of assignment for this position is two months with possible consideration for the prospective livelihoods project implementation. Main activities, tasks or duties: . Responsible for managing data collection and staff at district level, and positioning information obtained from the field in summaryformats, . Identify partnering opportunities and establish institutional partnerships and manage existing ones, . Maintain the data collection and proposal development calendar, in collaboration with the Livelihoods Delegate and partner agencies, and monitor adherence to the defined process and deadlines for technical proposals, production schedules and quality standards for proposals, . performance and facilitate corrective measures forvalid data, .Participateindevekpmentof intervention and operational -- L*t!iflhication and I]1IiL Cetencies: . BSc in Agricultural Economics, Rural Development, Community Development, General Agriculture or other related field of study, . Five years experience in data collection, community mobilization, participatory rural appraisal approach . Able to manage the client relationship and prepares thoroughly . Skilled in evoking participation and creativity . Adapts to the changing situation . Demonstrates professionalism, self-confidence and authenticity . Integrity, . Be attentive and open to people’s opinions and interests, and record their opinions properly in cooperation with the Data Collection Facilitator and other team members, . Work collaboratively with the data collection facilitator, community volunteers and partners field staff to gathering livelihoods data and to strengthening the credibility and likelihood of gathering community felt needs, . Support field-based data collection activities, and preparations for new projects. . Mobilize community meetings, conduct semi-structure interviews and provide direct support to field-based data collection as required. Qualification and ComTNir.i[.i .
