PROJECT MANAGER BUILDING
A reputable organization requires the services of a Project Manager for managing/coordinating the
design and construction of a multi-storey building for its own office in Islamabad.
Qualification & Experience:
The incumbent should be B.Sc (Civil Engineering) from reputable local/foreign university. M.Sc (Civil
Engineering) will be an added plus. An overall fifteen (15) years experience with reputable
national/international consulting/construction companies is required, out of which at least 5 years
should be in construction of multi-storey buildings. Major part of experience should be in a position as
a team leader responsible for quality of work, control of overall budget and timely completion of work.
Experience in evaluation of engineering proposals and skills in contract negotiations and contract
administration are also desirable. The candidate is expected to be proficient in computer use.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all activities related to successful completion of the project including the following:
. Monitoring and coordination/liaison with the Project Consultant for design, process of
tendering, bids evaluation, supervision of construction activities, quality and timely
completion of project as per approved schedule of construction and
standards/specifications.
. Verification of works and related assignments.
. Monitor the completion of various activities against the milestones and expenditures viz-a-
viz budget for the completion of the building. Any bottlenecks and constraints should be
immediately notified to the employer and rectified promptly.
. Prepare independent progress reports about the project activities also covering quantity and
quality of work for submission to employer.
Terms and Conditions:
The Project Manager will be appointed on contract basis for a period of 3 years extendable with
mutual consent. Persons working in Government/Semi Government/Autonomous bodies/Semi
Autonomous bodies, Corporations, etc. should apply through proper channel.
A market driven salary will be offered. The applicants are required to indicate their expected salary
