The Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDf) is a sect on 42, not-for-profIt Company funded by Government cf
the Punjab and Department for International Development, UK. PSDF is a funding organization which acts as a
financier of skills development /vocahonal training projects aid intends to stimilate the market for skills
devebprnent for the poor and the vulnerable population of South Punjab.
PSDF is looking for Ctiief Financial Officer and Company Secretary based at its Head Office, Bahawalpur:
I
. FormulatelReview financial and accounting pokies and procedures with a view to achieve transparency
and accountability:
. Ensure p’eparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with requirement 4 Companies
Ordinance, 1984 and International accounting standards:
. Coordinate with CEO for preparation of agendalNorklng paper for company-meetings;
. Manage timely submission of all statutory returns to SECP and other regulatory bodies;
. Lead the budgetary planning in line with the work plan approved by the Board of Directors:
. Coordinate with Planning and Oevelopnient Department, Government of the Punjab for timely disbursement
of funds;
. Ensure tImely completion of statutory audit In accordance with Company Ordinance, 1984;
. CoordInate with Monitoring Department and ensure timely payments to trairwng service providers;
. Prepare and timely submit different reports required by Donor and Planning and Development Department,
Government of the Punjab;
. Ensure timely submission of income tax returns/statements in accordance Income Tax Ordinance. 2001:
Education and Experience)
. A Chartered Accountant or equivalent;
. At least three years experience in financial management in a sizable corporate organization;
a Prior experience of working In donor funded project or of managing a companys corporate affairs will be
an added advantage:
. Expertise in formulating financial strategies and systems/procedure development;
. Excellent IT Skills;
