An international donor funded organization is seeking applications from qualified and experienced individuals for the following positions Li)seniol• Director Communications 1 The Senior Director Communications manages a high-performance team of established communications specialists and works closely to ensure that the project meet its Communications deliverables to USAID at the highest-levels of performance. The Senior Director will ensure that Project has a dynamic, state-of-the-art communications approach that successfully leverages both new and traditional media to raise the profile of the program. The Senior Director is responsible for ensuring that all Project materials meet the Branding and Marking requirements of USAID as well as the design and quality requirements of EDC. Experience and Qualification: . Masters degree with above 1 0 years of relevant experience in a senior management position preferably in development sector . Experience of working with USAID funded project is preferable . Experience in running out media and outreach campaigns . S/he must also posses strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work under pressure. Ability to manage multiple tasks while attending to details, demonstrated follow through and efficiency ii) Distance Education Programs Consultant The Distance Education Programs Consultant is the key position to provide leadership in designing and offering pre-service and continuous professional development programs for teachers in a virtual learning environment. The consultant will collaborate with the Virtual University of Pakistan and Allama lqbal Open University to implement the new HEC approved pre-service teacher education programs and also support these universities to offer continuous professional development programs to practice teachers to upgrade their professional qualifications through blended learning programs. Experience and Qualification: . Masters degree from a recognized University with 10 years of relevant work experience in ICT based distance Education in a university environment . Preference will be given to candidates with advanced degree in Education and teaching I learning technologies . Experience of working in the teacher education development sector . Extensive knowledge of and experience in managing distance education programs in universities iii) In-Service Teacher Education Specialist/Technical Manager I This position will provide content expertise and technical advice on how to implement in-service teacher education programs for practicing teachers in Pakistan that wish to upgrade their qualifications to an Associate Degree in Education (ADE) and/or Bachelor of Educations, (Honors), (B.Ed. Hons). The In-Service Teacher Education Specialistfrechnical Manager will closely collaborate with international and national experts. Experience and Qualification: . An academic/professional qualification at postgraduate level or equivalent in the field of education/teacher education studies . Teacher education experience of at least 5 years in higher education of Pakistan . Familiar with networks of higher education, government offices, and NGOs in Pakistan . Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) in English and Urdu . Good presentation skills; publication record is preferable iv) Program Ofhcer This position will provide support to and be a member of the technical team concerned with achieving Project objectives which focuses on in-service teacher education programs for practicing teachers in Pakistan who wish to upgrade their qualifications to an Associate Degree in Education (ADE) and/or Bachelor of Educations, (Honors), (B.Ed. Hons.) Experience and Qualification: . A Masters degree (preferably in education or a related field) . Minimum three years work experience in teacher education related projects .
