Punjab Irrigation and Drainage Authority (PIDA). an equal opportunity organization. invites
applications for suitable candidates ofeither sex for the following positions.
1. General Manager (Finance)(O1-PostXMonthty Initial Remuneration of Rs.1,22,500/ negotiable)
CA or equivalent qualification (as recognized by ICAP with 15 years relevant post qualification
experience
OR
ACMA/ACCA with minimum 20 years relevant post qualification experience
Must have proven track record of financial planning, budgeting. funds management and operating
financial/cost accounting systems, should have worked for at least five years as Head of Finance
Department/Cell with a large scale public or national/multinational private sector organization. Must
be capable ofdeveloping financial rules, accounting procedures and must posse leadership qualities.
Exposure to public sector and foreign funded projects shall be an added advantage. Maximum age
limit will be 58 years.
2. Dy. General Manager (Finance) (01-Post) (Monthly Initial Remuneration of Rs.75,000/-)
CA or equivalent qualification as recognized by ICAP
OR
ACMA/ACCA with minimum 10 years relevant post qualification experience
The candidate should he capable of developing financial/accounting and internal controls policies.
rules. regulations and procedures. Should be conversant with financial management, business plan.
consolidation and audit with working knowledge of IT/MIS. Exposure of public and foreign funded
projects shall be an added advantage. Maximum age limit shall be 50 years.
3. Manager (Fînance)(O1-Post) (Monthly Initial Remuneration of Rs.30,000f-)
CA Finalist/CA inter. ACMA/ACCA, MBA Finance/M.Com. CA Finalist Complete Article plus
one year relevant post articles experience in managerial capacity. CA inter Complete Article plus 2
years relevant post articles experience in managerial capacity. ACMAJACCA 2 years relevant post
qualification experience in managerial capacity. MBA Finance/M.Cpm 5 years relevant post
qualification experience in managerial capacity. Working knowledge of IFRS/IAS compliance. IT
environmental and MS office is must. Exposure to public sector/foreign funded projects shall be an
added advantage. Maximum age limit shall be 50 years.
All the positions are purely on contract basis initially for a period of three (3) years
(extendable). The facilities and allowances etc. for respective positions, will be admissible as per PIDA
Regulations. Applications addressed to the Managing Director PIDA, on duly filled Application form
given below with attested copies ofacademic certificates I degrees, experience certificates. C.N.I.C. etc.
and one recent passport size photograph pasted on application form should reach before 08.09.2012.
The applications should be submitted in sealed envelope clearly marking the position applied for. The
candidates interested on more than one seat, will have to apply separately for each position. The
Authority will not communicate with any candidate other than those who will be short listed for
interviews. Incomplete application shall be rejected. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates called for
interview.
