GI LGIT-BALTISTAN SECRETARIAT
PROJECT DIRECTOR REQUIRED
Application are invited for eligible candidates for employment as project Director (PD) for
“Establishment of Cadet College at Chilas, Diamer”. The Project Director is a senior position,
responsible for planning, managing and execution of construction works within specified construction cost
and completion period. The individual shall report to the Secretary Education, Gilgit-Baltistan through the
Director Education (Planning), Directorate of Education, Gilgit for effective management & assurance of
better quality of construction Works.
QUALIFICATION REQUIRED
_________ Bachelor of Science degree ¡n Civil Engineering registered with Engineering Council (PEC).
Higher education will be preferred.
___________ Minimum ten (10) years of progressively engineering experience in construction of
infrastructure, including construction-management; experience is similar positions will be
preferred.
Thorough knowledge of local buildings, construction specification affecting construction is
highly desirable.
_______________ Good interpersonal and managerial skills as well as negotiating and advisory sills are
required to coordinates with other stakeholders i.e. GB Secretariat, Directorate of
Educations and Ministry of KA/GB Division and Planning Commission, Islamabad for
effective management of the project.
_________ Maximum allowable age limit is 65-years.
______________ One year, but extendable upto the project life depending on the performance, physical &
Financial & financial progress of the project.
_______________ Maximum salary Rs. 75,000/- (Seventy Five Thousand only) per month.
Interested candidates are required to submit their applications along-with attested copies of
qualification, experience, CV and 2 latest photographs in the office of the undersigned upto 3lthAug, 2012
during office hours. Applications receiving after above deadline shall not be entertained. Only short listed
candidates shall be called for test/interview. No TA/DAis admissible during test/interview.
