Vacancy Announcement
Ministry of Information Technology requires services of a dynamic and hìgh Caliber
professional for the post of Chairmen National Telecommunication Corporation on contract
basis for a period of three years in MP-1 scale of pay with following qualification and
experience. The person selected as Chairman NTC will also be a full time Chief Executive
Officer.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree ¡n Telecommunication/Electrical/Electronics Engineering, bachelor
degree in Science/business management/administration/finance from HEC recognised or
internationally accredited institution. Higher qualification like Master degree in the above area
will be preferable.
The candidates MUST be below 55 years of age by the closing date of application with NO age
relaxation
At least 20 years experience after graduation (4 years degree) and 1 6 years for holder of
master degree. Senior Management level posftion and expenence in a technological
organisation is essential. Additional expeñence of planning, management, execution of naonaI
level projects especially in TelecommuncationhlT sector will be given preference.
Suitable candidates should have a demonstrable record of increasing progressive
responsibility and leadership with ability to work independenHy and having excellent writing,
financial, analytical and manageñal skills.
MP-1 with admissible allowances and facilities mush as, 1 300 CC Chauffeur Driven Car,
medical and other admisible facilIties as admissible under the Rules. No other benefits of and
kind would be admissible or considered over and above the salary and package under
reference
In case of selection, the candidates working ¡n Government Department, Autonomous/semi
autonomous bodies will have to resign from their present position before joining their new
assignment. Candidates possessing the required qualification and experience are encouraged
