CARE International in Pakistan invites applications from qualified candidates for the following position of Partnership Coordinator for its Country office in Islamabad. Job Summary: The Partnership Coordinator (PC) will oversee the development, implementation and evolution of CARE’s partnership strategy. The PC manages the partnership unit within the Program Development and Quality Department, and works closely with other members of the department in ensuring quality, effective and efficient programming that maximizes the sustainable impact of CARE’s work in Pakistan. In addition to Its strategic role and advisory responsibilities, the unit directly is responsible for sub-grant management and will have the authority to enforce compliance of key processes deemed by the Partnership Management Team (PMT) and Senior Management to be required to keep our partnerships strong, healthy and accountable. Specifically the partnership Coordinator will: 1. Lead development of CARE Strategic Partnership approach, including building and strengthening CARE’s network and relationship with partners. 2. Lead and strengthen the sub-grant, management, monitoring and compliance with partners. 3. Build CARE’s internal capacity to strengthen and mainstream strategic partnerships throughout its work. 4. Develop and oversee technical support plans that respond to needs of partners 5. Lead and oversee partner relationship management Prerequisites:J . A Master degree in Social Science, International Development, Humanitarian Studies or related field. Strongly Desired: Training or degree in financial management, business administration, or accounting. . At least 5 years management experience in humanitarian/development field. Three years experience with financial management, contract management, budget development and donor compliance and reporting. Experience in successfully developing and managing institutional partnerships with national NGOs, and in establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships government and private sector. Experience in implementing Rights-Based Approaches (RBA), advocacy strategies, gender and governance mainstreaming and initiatives. Program design and strategic planning and analytical skills, excellent Creative and conceptual skills, advanced writing and clear oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, training skills, strong computer skills.
