CONSULTANTS REQUIRED
1 . The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) an autonomous
body under the administrative control of Ministry
Inter Provincial Coordination requires the services
of Consultant(s) to carry out the following
assignments: -
(j) To examine, review and suggest suitable
changes in PSB Constitution and PSB mies,
1 981 in view to bring them in consonance
with lOC Charter.
(ii) To review sports law national sports policy
2005 and make it holistic and to update it
with the latest development in the Sports
Sector and keeping ¡n view devolution of
subject of sport under 1 8th Constitutional
amendment.
(iii) To define the relationship among Pakistan
Olympic Association (POA) I National Sports
Federations (NSFs) and Pakistan Sports Board.
(iv) To put ¡n place enforcement and compliance
regime of the Board.
(V) To evolve strategy to enhance ¡riterface with
International Organizations.
(vi) To carry out Institutional Management Review
(IMR) of the executive arm of the Board and
make recommendations for improvement of its
administrative structure, chain of command,
span of control, channel of communications
and Job descriptions/Job Specifications of
each position in the organization hierarchy.
(vii) Any other function which may be assigned to
the Consultant.
2. Qualification & Experience:)
(j) Individual(s) having educational background
in Law and Administrative Sciences I
Management Sciences from recognized I
reputable University;
(ii) At least five years experience of handling
administrative/ legal issues pertaining to sports.
(iii) Adequate knowledge of sports policies and
sports laws of Pakistan and the regional
countries as well as knowledge about the
working of relevant national and international
sports bodies like POA, NSFs International
Olympic Committees I International Federations.
3. Individuals/firms meeting the required qualifica
tions and professional experience may send their
applications to the Secretary PSB/Joint Secretary
(Sports) within 1 5 days of the publication of this
advertisement.
4. The Terms of References (‘rOR) are negotiable.
5. Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination/Pakistan
Sports Board shall have th right to reject any
individual/firm without assigning any reasons.
