Accountant: The incumbent will be required to independently prepare and
keep record of construction account and perform the following tasks:
. Maintenance of construction accounts and invoices
. Comparison of bills against contract agreement and scrutinize the
billing quantities
. Preparation and implementation of standard accounting processes
and procedures and inform Management for any deviation ¡n policies
. Preparation of monthly payments and forecasts
. Monitoring of Standard cost and pricing as per the Contract Agreement
. Preparation of Accounts for Internal and External Audits
. Analysis of financial results and maintenance of financial expenditure
record as per best financial practices and governing rules
. Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation and review with Management
. Analysis of cost reduction projects
The Candidate will have the following qualification and experience
. Bachelors degree in Commerce (B1Com) or equivalent qualification
from an accredited institution
. Five to seven years of progressive experience and knowledge in the
matters of Income Tax, Sales Tax, WI I I including Payroll Tax,
Managing of Fixed assets, construction accounting, construction
invoices, and maintenance and operation of funds
. The candidates must have knowledge and Experience of Project
accounting tools and techniques
. Competence ¡n English
. Should be domiciled in Sindh
. Age Limit: 35 years
b. Audior The incumbent will be required to carry out the following tasks:
. Compare the payments certificates with Contract Agreement and
approve the payments.
. Scrutinize the bills against approved payment criteria.
. Verify the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining
to Construction transactions recorded by the consultants or
Operation Wing
. Examine expense accounts, loans, insurance or bank warranty policies.
. Keep record of interests and payments, arrange funds as per CA,
. Keep bank records, inventory and stock record sheets and similar
items to verify accuracy of the recorded data.
. Correct errors I omissions or list discrepancies for adjustments.
. Monitor deductions, overpayments etc.
. Compute percentages and totals, using computer programs, and
compare results with recorded entries.
The Candidate will have the following qualification and experience:
. Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification
from an accredited institution
. Five to seven years of progressive experience and knowledge in the
matters of understanding of auditing system, manuals, software,
procedure and records
. Competence in English
. Should be domiciled in Sindh
. Age Limit: 35 years
C. Quantity Surveyor: The incumbent will be required to carry out the
following tasks:
. Competence in Establishing the cost of installation, materials and
workmanships and preparation of well planned quotation for each
individual project
. Prepare contracts for projects by stating clearly the requisite terms
and conditions
. Study and understand the contracts offered to the Authority.
. Sourcing and purchasing of materials and related products needed
for the production of plans, construction documents etc.
. Prepare and submit claims for payment and take responsibility of
verification of quantities
. Perform liaison with engineers, consultants, suppliers, contractors;
sub contractors and others
. Prepare a data bank of cost of items and consult schedules of various
entitles
The Candidate will have the following qualification and experience:
. Diploma in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
. Five to seven years of progressive experience and knowledge ¡n the
matters of preparation of contract documents, quotations, project cost
and verification of quantities
. Competence in English and related technical software(s)
. Should be domiciled in Sindh
