Project Coordinator I Position
Fixed Term 10 Months (Islamabad based)
Job Summary
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of Concerns ECHO
funded Alliance2Ol5 prciject with the Alliance2Ol5 Partners, relevant government authorities,
UN and other stakeholders, by adhering to the agreed strategy and ensuring that standard
grant management. monitoring and accountability procedures are followed in line with donor
and Concern policies. The Project Coordinator will also ensure that Concern fulfills its
commitments under the joint Alliance2Ol 5 project.
Qualifications & Experience Required
. Post graduate or higher qualification preferably in development studies, humanitarian studies.
international development and/or related social science degree
. Substantial experience in relief and early recovery programming with INGOs in the WASH and
Shelter sectors.
. Substantial experience of coordinating’ managing the implementation of Consortium or Alliance
projects.
. Experience of managing ECHO funded projects with a strong knowledge of DG ECHO procedures
and guidelines
. Strong coordination, communication and presentation skills and a good ability to negotiate with and
influence actors at a senior leveL
. Fluent communicator in English - both written and oral
. Strong inter-personal skills, representation and diplomacy skills and tIle ability to effectively engage
with a wide range of audiences.
. Excellent pro,ect management skills (project assessments, design. planning, implementation,
monitoring, evaluation)
. Excellent protect management skills (project assessments, design. planning, implementation,
monitoring, evaluation)
. Financial, grant and numerics skills.
. Proven computer œnetenoe.
Experience in capturing and disseminating learning to different audiences fora range of purposes.
. Ability to work effectively in a culturaly diverse organization.
