Freuuency Allocation Board (FABI
Cabinet Division invites applications for the post of Executive Director, Frequency Allocation Board (FAB).
The applicant should be a professional Wireless Communication/Radio Frequency engineer responsible for
assuming a leadership role relating to allocation and assignment of portions of the Radio Frequency
Spectrum.
I QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE/
a) Ph.D in Telecom System/Electronics/Electrical with specialization in Wireless Communication /Radio
Frequency Engineering with 12 years relevant experience in a responsible position in public I private
sector:
OR
M.Sc/M.S (Electrical I Electronics I Telecom Engineering) with specialization in Wireless Communication
I Radio Frequency Engineering with 15 years relevant experience in a responsible position ¡n public I
private Sectors (B.Sc. Engineering with 03 years additional experience).
b) Preference and relaxation in experience will be given to candidates who possess MBA (in
Engineering/Finance/Law/Telecom) qualification in addition.
c) Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council.
[ÕRITERIA7
The candidate shall be an eminent professional of known integrity and competence in the following fields;
a) Radio Frequency Planning for ITU recognized Radio Communication Services.
b) Mobile Communication (GSM, CDMA,WCDM, WIBRO, WIMAX, LTE)
c) Spectrum monitoring, Inspection; Allocation and Channeling Plans;
d) Preparation &Area CoverageAnalysis, InterferenceAnalysis and InternationalAnalysis;
e) Equipment standards Development, Antenna Standards Development, Equipment Standards
Evaluation, andAntenna Standards Evaluation.

SEG-2 and shall be governed underthe FAB Employees Service Regulations.
TENURE !
The Selected candidate shall be appointed for an initial term of three (03) Years, and shall be eligible for
reappointment, upon satisfactory performance, for a similar term as the Federal Government may determine.
INELIGIBILITY /
The selected candidate shall not have any direct or indirect financial interest in, or have business connection
with any person, any establishment or firm which renders Telecommunication / Wireless I Spectrum services
or supplies telecommunication /spectrum equipment to any telecommunication sector ¡n Pakistan or abroad.
