ENGINEERING SERVICES ßJZJ
FATA Secretarat Specal Project (FSSP) is in the process of preç,ig
engineering /consulting firms te provide technical experlise (CivL Water &
Sanitation Engineers) for a period of one year in FATA & KPK. The firms wl have
working experience in FATA & KPK are required to submit their
quotation/proposals on the given format.

. The consulting firm will provide professional engineers (CiM, ter &
Santtaticn Engineers), trained and experienced in Water & Sanitation,
Roads and Irrigaben Canal design and supervision. These engineers will
be supervised by, and work directly with FSSP staff in the FSSR
Peshawar and FATAfieId offices.
. The consulting firm will provide means of daily, bcal transportation (Car
with P01 and vehicle rnainlenarice)for each of the engineers;
. The enneers wll be provided by the cocisul&g frm on a temporary
basis, as requested by FSSP Engineering Department.
. The engineers will conduct site surveys to collect all necessary field data
andior documents needed to devehp concept ideas into fully developed
designs, bid documents and Bus of Quantity (BOQs).
. The engineers will work In close collaboration and cooperation with the
supervising FSSP Program Engineer. However, the engineer will also
work with FSSP staff members, suth as Head Office Program Engrieers,
field based Regional Engineers arid Field Engineers, as well as the
District/Agency Devebpment Officer (DDOÌADO), Senior Engineer and
Engineenng Program Manager.
. The engineers will submit completed designs, bid documents and BOQs
to the supervising Program Engineer for inspection and approval by the
supervising Program Engineer. Engineering documnenis will also be
approved by the ADO and DDOs to assure that the design product meets
all requirements of the Project Oversight Committee (POC). Pohtical
Agent (PA) arid Government of Pakistan (GoP) authorities involved in the
overall implementation of the project.
Criteria forTe lection ///
Selection at the Consulting finii will bebased upon the flowing criteria:
. Ability to provide relevant exporienced Civil Engineers with minimum 4
years design and construction experience and proven ability to meet
deadlines and successfully complete projects;
. AvaIlability of engineering staff who have experience working In FATA and
KPK willmg and able to travel and work in these areas;
. Background of working with FATA-KPK GoP offices, preferab’y including
Highway Division Woils and Services Department, Irfigatian Department,
Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), FATA Secretariat,
Agency Political Agents (PAs), etc.;
. Identified Engineeringstaff fluent in Pashto, Urdu and English.
. Engineering candidates should have verified education credentials.
