JOB OPPORTUNITY
An international donor funded organization is seeking applications from experienced, qualified and dedicated candidates for the
following positions
IDirector Bridging Programs
This position will be lead to plan and establish continuous professional development (CPD) programs for teachers to upgrade their
qualifications to an Associate Degree in Education (ADE) and/or Bachelor of Education, Honors, (B.Ed. Hons.).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Program Management
• Manage the implementation of the work plan to design and offer bridging programs.
• Manage the work of national and international consultants and provide technical assistance.
• Prepare annual and quarterly work plans to guide implementation of the strategy.
• Liaise with the project Grants Manager to ensure teachers enrolled ¡n bridging program receive scholarships.
. Prepare quarterly progress reports and other project updates.
Program Planning
• Contribute to the development of a detailed strategy for the design and implementation of bridging programs
. Maintain a strategic overview of progress, and adjust strategy accordingly
Program Coordination and Implementation
. Identity members of an expert group to examine and plan for bridging programs
• Coordinate and support the work of the expert groups.
• Coordinate with HEC, the NCRC and partner universities engaged ¡n designing bridging programs.
. Set up mechanisms to ensure a wide range of stakeholders in each province are consulted and engaged in The
development of provincial plans for bridging programs.
• Coordinate with donors involved in CPD in the two provinces and ensure that they engage with the expert group in
each province as plans for ADE bridging programs are being designed.
Qualifications and ExperienÇe:
. Minimum master levels of education higher qualifications are desirable.
. Strong management and organizational skills
. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) in English and Urdu.
• Significant relevant experience in education program design and implementation at a senior manager
level in Pakistan
