PROFESSOR (B-21) (TTS)
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
a) Ph.D Degree ¡n Botany from an HEC recognized
University/institution.
1 1 Years Post Ph.D or minimum of 7 Years Post
Ph.D Research/Teaching Experience along with
at least 12 Years Experience prior to Ph.D. The
Experience to be counted is to be of Research/
Teaching ¡n a recognized University or a
Postgraduate Institution or Professional
Experience in the relevant field in a National or
International Organization. ResearchfTeaching
Experience ¡n Halophyte Biology ¡s required.
C) At least 15 Research Publications (with at least
5 Publications In the Last Five Years) in Journals
recognized for the purpose of appointment of
Tenure Track by HEC, i.e. Research Papers
published in Journals that fall under category “W’1
(Impact Factor).
d) The Applicants must have been recommended
by at least Two Neutral Foreign Experts of
“Technical Review Panel” (TRP to be constituted
by the University).
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR (B-20)
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
a) Ph.D Degree ¡n Botany from an HEC recognized
University/i nstitution.
b) 1 0 Years Teaching/Research Experience in an
HEC recognized University or a Postgraduate
Institution or Professional Experience in a National
or International Organization. Research/Teaching
Experience ¡n the Halophyte Biology requfred.
C) The Applicants must have 10 Research
Publications with at least 3 Publications in the
Last Four Years in Internationally Abstracted
Journals recognized by the Higher Education
Commission.
ASSTT. PROFESSOR (B-19)(TTS)
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
a) Ph.D Degree in Botany from an HEC recognized
University/institution.
b) At least 4 Years Research/Teaching Experience
prior to Ph.D. The Experience to be counted is
to be of Research/Teaching ¡n a recognized
University or a Postgraduate Institution or

RESEARCH OFFICER (B-17)
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
a) M.Sc Degree (Minimum 16 Years of Education)
in Botany from an HEC recognized University or
a Postgraduate Institution. Research Experience
in Halophyte is required. No 3rd Division in the
Academic Career.
b) At least 3 First Divisions in the entire Academic
Career.
d) Maximum Age of 40 Years by the Closing Date
of Submission of Application.

University of Karachi on Payment of Rs 350f- through
Pay Order in favour of University of Karachi.
ii) Six Copies of Application together with a Pay Order of
Rs 6001- in favour of University of Karachi for the
Post of Professor, Associate Professor and Four
Copies of Application for the Post of Assistant
Professor & Research Officer, accompanied by the
Photocopies of Degrees f Diplomas I Certificates,
Experience Certificates and Reprints of Publications.
if any, must reach the Registrar, University of Karachi,
University Road, Karachi-75270 (Pakistan) on or before
July 07, 201 2. The Last Date for Receipt of Applications
in case of Pakistaní Nationals serving/residing abroad
