Southern Punjab Poverty Alleviation Project (SPPAP)
Government of the Punjab in collaboration with lnicmaüonal Fund for Agricultural Development
(IFAD) has launched the “Southern Punjab Poverty Alleviation Project (SPPAP)” in four districts of Punjab i.e.
Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Muzaffargarh and Rajanpur. The project will focus on poverty alleviation through asset
transfer, vocational & entrepreneurial training and productivity enhancement initiatives in the agriculture and livestock
sectors. The project will be implemented by a Project Management Unit (PM U) based at Bahawalpur and three District
Management Units (DMUs) at Bahawalnagar, Muzaffargarh and Rajanpur in association with private sector partners and
communit’: rganizationS.
In order to achieve the goals of thc project, applications are invited for the following posts of Project Management
Unit (PMU) and District Management Units:
PROJECT MANAGEMENT UNIT (PMU) BAHAWALPUR
t. Project Director (BS-l9) (1 Post)
Pay Package: Rs 175,000 /per month
Age: 37-55 years
Q.aliflcatlo.s & Other RequIrements
. Master Degree (2nd Division) in Social Sciences/MRA
from HEC recognized Institution with IS years of
professional experience including 5 years at u senior
management position and 5 years in the development
sector.
. Experience of project environment in skill
managcmcntil ivcstock development and cxccl 1cm
leadership & interpersonal skills shall be preferred.
3. Agriculture Specialist (RS-lS) (t Post)
Pay Package: Rs. 1 20,000 1 per month
Age: 32-45 years
Qualifications & Otber Requirements
. Ph.D in Agriculture Sciencesf related Biological
Sciences from HEC recognized university I institution
with 5 years of relevant experience or Master Degree in
Agriculture or Agriculture Economics (2nd Division)
from HEC recognized institution with 10 years relevant
professional experience In Agriculture Development
projects.
. WorkIng experience with communities shall be
preferred.
4. Livestock Speclallit (US-18) (1 Post)
Pay Package: Rs. 120.000 ? per month
Ag.: 32-45 years
Qualifications & Otber Requirements
• Ph.D in Animal SCienO& related Biological Sciences from
HEC recognized univœsity/ institution with 5 years of
relevant experience or Master Degree in Animal Sciences
(2nd Division) from HEC recognized university? institutioi
with 10 years relevant professional experience in Livoatook
Development projects.
• Working experience with communities shall be prefened.
5. TrainIng ¡r Enterprise Specialist (RS-lS) (1 Post)
Pay Package: Rs. I 20,000 I pci month
Age: 3245 years
Qualifications & Other Reqisiremeals
. Master Degree in Entrepreneurship? SME Management
or Business Administration from HEC recognized
institution.
. Al least 10 years of relevant professional experience
including 3 years experience in Management Role in
field of Business.! Entrepreneurship Development. Rural
Development, Micro Finance o’ in a similar filed.
6. Gender & Poverty Specialist (BS-1S) (t Post)
Pay Package: Rs. 120,000 ! per month
Age: 32-45 years
Qualifications & Otbr RequIrements
• Master Degree in Social Sciences.
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in the
field of Gender and Rural Development including 3 ys
of experience in a Management Role In the area of Rural
Development. Micro Finance ci in a similar field.
• Female candidates will be preferred
