ENGINEERS
Training to be held at KINPOE (Karachi) and CHASOENT (Mianwali)
An excellent training opportunity for Engineers in one year Post Graduate Training Program (PGTP) in
Nuclear Technology at Karachi Institute of Power Engineering (KINPOE), Karachi and CHASNUPP
Centre of Nuclear Training (CHASCENT), Mianwali simultaneously. The program will include three
semesters of class room teaching, lab work and on-job-training. Passing in all three semesters is must for
successful training. On successful completion of training, the graduates will likely be absorbed against
available vacant posts in the organization. Admission in PGTP will be on merit, based on academic
qualifications, aptitude test and interview. The course is expected to begin in November, 2012.
1. ELIGIBILITY
. All Pakistani Natinnals fulfilling the crìtería can apply.
. Preferably first class academic career (at least 60% marks), however only one 2nd division is allowed
except in the final degree. In case of semester system, a CGPA 2.5 out of 4 in the final degree is
required.
For Training at KINPOE and CHASCENT:
> BE! B.Sc. Engineering: (Recognized by PEC)

. Candidates expecting completion of their degree requirements by December, 2012 may also apply.
• Age limit: 27 years as on June 01,2012.
• Departmental candidates have to apply through proper channel.
2. FINANCIAL STIPEND AND FACILITIES DURING STUDIESI
. A stipend of Rs. 15.000/- per month.
. Free bachelors hostel accommodation for outstation trainees, subject to availability.
• Free Indoor medical treatment and pick & drop transport facility.
3. CAREER AFTER COMPLETION OF TRAINING
. Appointment as Junior Engineer in pay scale equivalent to BPS-17 (Rs. 20500-1200-44500), with
admissible allowances as per rules.
. Selected Trainees will pledge a bond to serve the organization for a period of five years after
completion of their training. In case if trainee opts not to join, he will have to pay back the incurred
expenditure as calculated by the organization.
4. HOW TO APPLY
. Application Form and Admit Card may be downloaded from KINPOE website www.kinpoe.edu.pk.
. Application Form and Admit Card duly completed along with two self-addressed envelopes affixed
with postal stamps of Rs. 20/- each and a Bank Draft/Pay Order of Rs. 1000/- in favour of KINPOE,
KANUPP, Karachi as application processing fee (non-refundable) must reach the following address
not later than June 01, 2012. The bank draft may be obtained preferably from any branch of the
National Bank of Pakistan and payable at NBP, KANUPP Branch Karachi (Code-0152). Addresses
of the test centers will be sent with the Admit Card and can also be seen at KIN POE website. Please
