South Asia Institutional Funding Manager
Location: Bangladesh, Pakistan orSn Lanka
Salary dependent on location, local terms and conditions will apply
Sightsavers has an exciting new opportunity to join the Global Institutional
Funding team working within South Asia. This role will focus on developing and
operationalising an institutional funding strategy, generating proposals
particularly in Bangladesh, Sñ Lanka and Pakistan, and providing support to
institutional fundraising in India. The role will also include researching new
institutional donors, strengthening regional and country capacity in grant
management and developing and updating management information systems.
The successful candidate will have extensive expenence working in
institutional or statutory funding alongside a proven track record of having
raised and managed significant funding from a range of programme funding
donors such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, DFID, USAID or EC.
You will have knowledge of the international development environment, be
capable of managing multiple prionties, have excellent communications skills
and the ability to work collaboratively. Some international travel will be
required and the ability to obtain visas and travel within the South Asia region,
particularly Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and India, and the UK, US and
UAE, is essential.
